This decorative bowl, designed by Jan Kotik for Skrdlovice glassworks in 1955, is a notable example of Czech mid-century avant-garde. Hand-formed from crystal glass and ground flat at the base, it is distinguished by its organic, asymmetrical silhouette characteristic of the 'Propeller' series.
