This bowl from the 'Propeller' set, designed by Jan Kotik in 1955 for the Skrdlovice glassworks, is a striking example of mid-20th-century Czech design. Hand-formed from crystal glass, it features a multicolored palette: deep amethyst purple seamlessly blends into vibrant blues and subtle green accents, especially prominent at the base and within the dynamic, organic contours. The glass has a high-gloss, almost mirror-like surface that accentuates the interplay of light and color across its undulating, irregular edges and asymmetrical base.
