This bowl from the 'Propeller' set, designed by Jan Kotik in 1955 for the Skrdlovice glassworks, is an example of 1950s Czechoslovak modernism. Hand-formed from crystal glass, it features a dynamic, sculptural form with asymmetrical, undulating folds and thick, rounded edges. The multicolored palette—dominated by deep amethyst purple, cobalt blue, and subtle notes of emerald green and pink—blends organically, creating an almost iridescent effect.
