This 'bowling pin' vase, produced in the 1970s by HSG Ząbkowice in Poland, is made of pressed Rosalin glass and represents a notable example of Eastern European mid-century modern. The elongated, cylindrical outline is articulated with a series of regular horizontal rings wrapping the body, while the delicate pale pink tone, combined with transparency and an even glossy finish, highlights the minimalist spirit of the era. There are no handles or adornments—precisely modeled ribs create a geometric rhythm that enhances the subtle decorative value. The gently flared base gives stability to the strongly vertical proportions.
