This hand-crafted leather box, designed by Wesley Bober and created in the United States during the 1970s, represents the craftsmanship and design sensibility of mid-century modern accessories. Built on a wooden core and covered in natural leather of a warm, light brown shade with reddish undertones, the box embodies artisanal quality. The satin to semi-gloss finish brings out the leather’s natural texture and grain. Decorative dark rivets and corner hardware provide both structure and a subtle industrial accent, while the lid features a centered, embossed, ornamental motif.
