This vintage ceramic breakfast board by Villeroy & Boch, produced at the La Louvière factory in Belgium, embodies the tradition of early 20th-century European tableware. Crafted from smooth, glazed ceramic, the board features a rectangular silhouette with softly rounded edges and an ornate, sculpted top, finished with a large circular hole for hanging. Its surface is adorned with a harmonious cobalt blue onion pattern (Zwiebelmuster), a motif long celebrated in European decorative arts. The design consists of stylized floral and vegetal elements arranged symmetrically around a central panel, highlighted by a single delicate flower. The glossy glaze imparts a subtle sheen, while the ceramic reveals fine, authentic speckling and gentle patina—testaments to its vintage character. The reverse bears a brown factory stamp: 'La Louvière Boch' and 'Made in Belgium.'
