This wall sconce from 1960s Germany is crafted from soldered metal, preserving fragments of its original black enamel. The construction features an elongated diamond-shaped geometry, with pronounced stepped and zigzag motifs at the top and bottom. Decorative scrollwork and sharp accents introduce a strong brutalist character, typical of mid-century European modernism. The surface combines matte black with slightly grainy texture in areas where the enamel has worn or oxidation has occurred. The centrally placed E14 socket (max 40W) and glossy black mounting plate contrast with the matte frame, while the proportions (height 55 cm, width 19 cm, depth 12 cm) give the sconce a commanding wall presence.
