This sideboard from the Bytom Furniture Factory, dating from the 1960s, is a quintessential example of Polish mid-century modernism. Crafted from solid wood with a walnut veneer, it features a pronounced, natural grain highlighted by a subtle satin lacquer. The piece includes four horizontal drawers on the left, each with minimalist, integrated wooden handles, and two sliding doors on the right with oval, chrome-accented recessed pulls. It stands on four slender, tapered legs, characteristic of the era. The overall design and proportions are balanced, and the finish is smooth, with no visible signs of wear. Dimensions: width 164 cm, height 78 cm, depth 41.5 cm.The sideboard’s form evokes the order and calm typical of 1960s Polish design.
