ABOUT PRODUCTID 6481
This chest of drawers, produced in the 1970s by the Danish manufacturer Sorø Terminalborde Ole Bjerregaard Pedersen ApS, exemplifies classic mid-century modern design where simplicity meets functionality. The body is crafted from wood finished with a laminate in a warm, honey-toned oak shade, displaying a natural wood grain pattern, while the matte to satin surface finish enhances the material’s authenticity. Three wide, capacious drawers are fitted with horizontal metal handles in a brushed silver tone, adding a contemporary accent to the composition. The construction stands on solid, gently tapered wooden legs stained deep black—a detail characteristic of Scandinavian minimalism from the 1970s. The chest is defined by its geometric lines and well-balanced proportions, making it a practical storage piece for documents or small items. The condition is very good: the surface has been refreshed, with only minor scratches and gentle edge wear typical for vintage furniture
