This late 19th-century French cabinet sculpture, cast in patinated bronze, depicts a young fisherman in a dynamic, concentrated pose. Bearing the signature Delpech—an allusion to Charles Delpech—the work situates itself within the tradition of French academic realism and fine sculptural modeling of the era.
