The JRUS-Metall candleholder from the 1960s exemplifies the refined fusion of space age design with mid-century modern features and a subtle art deco accent. Crafted from warm, medium-brown teak wood and metal-plated candle sockets and legs, it displays the period’s characteristic geometric motifs—an elongated, gently curved oval body with a smooth, semi-gloss finish, and two horizontal, inlaid metal strips along the sides. The upward-turned candle sockets outline trajectories where candlelight can create an evening ambience, while the inlays and original proportions recall a time when ordinary objects were elevated by bold, innovative aesthetics. The piece brings a discreet note of vintage character to any setting—a
