This two-armed Art Deco candlestick, dating from the 1920s/30s, is crafted from silver-plated metal, presenting a cool, subtly matte silver tone. Its highly symmetrical silhouette features gently arched, tubular double arms joined to smooth, subtly fluted candle holders that taper upwards, each finished with a rounded lip. The solid, oval, and slightly domed base is adorned with stylized, radiating relief lines—an homage to the geometric and streamlined motifs emblematic of the Art Deco era. The surface bears natural patina, areas of wear to the silver plating, and fine, irregular micro-scratches, especially on raised sections, all characteristic of an authentic vintage object. The joints are seamless, and the entire piece remains stable and well-balanced. Designed to hold two standard dinner candles, it is preserved in very good condition, with only gentle traces of age and use, and no evidence of recent restoration.This object echoes the spirit of the interwar years, when Art Deco sought harmony between function and ornament.
