The rug is made from resilient, high-quality sheep’s wool with a soft, matte finish that enhances its deep, saturated colors: a rich navy blue serves as the backdrop, illuminated by pastel shades of salmon pink, ivory, subtle olive green, and highlighted with burgundy and light beige accents. The border is composed of a wide main band with repeating vase and floral chalice motifs, flanked by narrow guard stripes adorned with small, geometric rosettes on a light ground. The style is classic Persian, combining organic, flowing patterns with harmonious geometric structure. The piece is in excellent, original condition, with no signs of wear, damage, or restoration. In this rug, one can hear the quiet story of Takab’s
