ABOUT PRODUCTID 10616
This cascading pendant lamp from the 1970s exemplifies the mid-century modern design language, with its geometric accents and love of textured materials. The structure features three honey-colored glass shades, each suspended at different heights on white cords. The spherical shades are adorned with a raised geometric pattern of ovals and dots, and their glossy surface intensifies the interplay of light. Each shade is topped with a cylindrical metal fitting in a copper or brass tone, adding a distinctive metallic detail to the composition. The large, round ceiling canopy is finished in matte cream, harmonizing with the overall arrangement. The lamp is preserved in very good vintage condition – only minor traces of use are visible on the metal parts, with no significant damage or signs of restoration. All components appear original. The lamp's form echoes the optimism and dynamism of the 1970s, a time when light and color played a central role in interior design. The cascading arrangement of shades, each hanging at a different height, creates a sense of movement and rhythm, as if the lamp tells a story of an era when design aimed to surprise and delight through simplicity. The textured glass refracts the light, casting soft reflections on the walls, while the amber hue of each globe evokes the atmosphere of convivial gatherings beneath a warm glow. This piece can be hung centrally above a dining table or as a focal light in a living room, where its cascading composition can be fully appreciated. It would pair well with furniture featuring clean wooden lines, as well as
