ABOUT PRODUCTID 11093
This cascading pendant lamp from the 1970s exemplifies European mid-century modern lighting design. It features five light points suspended at staggered heights, each capped with a glass shade in a warm, opalescent honey-amber tone. The pressed glass shades have a double-gourd, bulbous silhouette with embossed, decorative patterns that give the lamp a distinct texture and dynamic appearance. Copper-colored metal caps with a satin, matte finish connect the shades to white cords, leading up to a large round white ceiling canopy. The materials include thick, glossy glass and metal with a subtle, natural patina. The lamp measures 85 cm in height and 33 cm in width; each shade is 16 cm wide. The construction is solid, with all connections neatly finished and the proportions creating a harmonious cascade. The condition is very good – the glass remains flawless, and the metal elements show only minimal surface scratches typical for the age of the piece.
