ABOUT PRODUCTID 16794
This Austrian caviar serving spoon from 1890–1900 is constructed from natural mother-of-pearl and silver-plated brass. The bowl features a glossy, iridescent surface with a refined gradient ranging from creamy white through warm beige to delicate golden hues, accentuated by organic, undulating shell patterns. The handle presents a cool, silvery tone with a subtle satin sheen and is adorned with fine linear rings and soft, baluster-like turnings—details inspired by the late 19th-century neoclassical and historicist styles. The joint between bowl and handle is accentuated by a decorative, riveted fitting with a stylized floral or trefoil motif, evidencing careful craftsmanship. All joins and connections are finely executed. Very good condition—only minimal signs of use visible, no damage or repairs.

Such a spoon may be used to serve caviar, jellies, or desserts in a home vintage setting or incorporated into classically styled table arrangements. It pairs effectively with delicate porcelain, cut crystal vessels, or silverware, enhancing the historical character of a
