This eclectic ceiling lamp, produced in Poland around 1970, merges a glossy, opaline white glass globe shade with a solid, flat brass mount in a warm golden hue. The base is adorned with a repoussé ornamental frieze, inspired by acanthus leaves and botanical motifs, offering a deliberate contrast to the minimalist sphere. The proportions are balanced: the smooth white globe, measuring 15.5 cm in diameter and 20 cm in height, harmonises with the richly embossed brass rosette. Visible screws secure the glass to the base, highlighting the construction’s solidity, while the polished surfaces of both glass and metal subtly reflect the surroundings. The lamp is equipped with a new E27 socket and updated wiring. Preserved in excellent condition, it shows no signs of damage, tarnish, or wear.
