ABOUT PRODUCTID 9330
The Helestra ceiling lamp, designed by Hans Wilfried Hegger for the German company Cosack in the 1970s, exemplifies the highest tier of mid-century modern lighting. The structure is crafted entirely from brass with a warm, golden hue and a semi-gloss finish. Twelve slender, symmetrically arranged arms extend from the central body, forming fluid, sculptural lines reminiscent of abstract or floral motifs. Each arm terminates in a socket for an E14 bulb, with the overall diameter reaching 65 cm. The bulb holders are seamlessly integrated with the arms, emphasizing the unity of the design. The lamp accommodates both frosted and chrome-tipped bulbs, allowing for a varied lighting effect. The detailing—from smooth bends to precise joints—reflects the high standard of late 20th-century German craftsmanship. The lamp is in very good condition, displaying characteristic vintage patina, minor scratches, and brass wear, with all original components
