The 'Clam' ceiling lamp, designed by Angelo Lelli for Arredoluce in the 1970s, exemplifies Italian mid-century modern lighting. Its structure features a hard acrylic shade in a warm, creamy ivory tone, with a subtly milky, gently translucent appearance. The glossy surface reflects and diffuses light softly, lending the lamp a sculptural presence. Four polished brass brackets with smooth, curved lines and geometric ends secure the shade to the ceiling, creating a striking contrast with the organic acrylic form. Exposed brass screws emphasize the precision of the construction and the artisanal quality of the piece.
