This ceiling pendant lamp, designed by Josef Hurka for the Czechoslovak manufacturer Napako, exemplifies late modernism in the Brusel and New Look style. The shade features a cylindrical, subtly barrel-shaped form crafted from glossy opaline (milky white) glass, with a cool, pristine hue. A continuous ornamental band encircles the central section, combining sharply pointed vertical black motifs with regular, delicately pink circles for a geometric and playful accent. The lamp is suspended from a vivid blue textile braided cord that contrasts against the smooth white oval ceiling rose. Fitted with a single E27 socket for bulbs up to 60W, it serves both general and accent lighting needs.
