ABOUT PRODUCTID 14545
The 'Wielki Biały' ceiling lamp, produced for Penko Pieńsk in Poland at the turn of the 1970s and 80s, is a striking example of late Communist-era industrial design. Its large, pressed glass shade takes a softly domed, almost spherically geometric form, rendered in a warm, matte white that diffuses light evenly and gently. The glass is distinguished by a subtle, gently raised rim encircling the edge and a small, central circular accent, which together provide visual depth without disturbing the fixture’s minimalism. The nearly concealed metal base, visible only as a small underside detail, underscores the lamp’s understated profile. Thanks to its design, the lamp can function as either a ceiling fixture or as a wall-mounted sconce. It accommodates two E27 bulbs (up to 75 W each). Dimensions: height 10 cm, diameter 42 cm, base diameter 31 cm. The lamp presents in excellent condition, with no notable marks or signs of use.
This ceiling lamp quietly narrates the atmosphere of late 1970s Poland, when interiors sought
