This large ceiling light, designed by Helena Tynell for Limburg (Germany, 1960s), exemplifies the artistry of mid-century modern glasswork. The hand-blown, amber-golden glass shade features a pronounced bubble motif: a sculptural, organic surface composed of rounded protrusions of varying sizes, casting a softly diffused light. The color is consistent throughout in honeyed, warm tones, with subtle variations in intensity, while the glossy finish enhances both the depth of the glass and the bubble pattern. The nearly square form with softly rounded corners is mounted on a discreet metal base, invisible from the front.
