ABOUT PRODUCTID 29629
This pendant lamp, designed by Helena Tynell for Limburg in the 1960s, reflects the mature spirit of European mid-century modernism, where glass and metal are elegantly balanced. The shade is crafted from thick, hand-blown transparent glass, defined by a distinctive bubble pattern—raised, evenly distributed spheres that create a tactile, three-dimensional surface. The upper part features a smooth, polished chrome cylinder whose mirror-like finish contrasts with the organic glass texture below. A minimalist black cord completes the composition, emphasizing the lamp’s modernist character. The proportions are carefully considered: the chrome section comprises about half the fixture’s height, while the compact, geometric glass shade completes the form. The total adjustable height is approximately 80 cm, the glass shade measures 19 cm in diameter, and the shade (including chrome) is 31 cm tall. The lamp requires one E27 bulb and is LED compatible. The condition is excellent, with no visible chips, cracks, or wear
