ABOUT PRODUCTID 29698
This ceiling light, designed by Helena Tynell for Limburg in Germany in the 1970s, exemplifies mid-century modern aesthetics through its sculptural use of glass. The shade is crafted from thick amber glass, featuring a pronounced bubble texture reminiscent of honeycomb, which creates a lively interplay of light and shadow. Its square form, measuring 20 × 20 cm with a height of 10.5 cm, is defined by sharply cut, stepped geometric edges. The golden-amber hue and glossy finish enhance the glass’s depth and brilliance. The fixture is made as a single molded piece, flush-mounted to the ceiling or wall, with the original manufacturer’s sticker preserved. The lamp is technically sound, newly re-wired for E27 bulbs (max 60 W) and LED compatibility. The glass is in perfect vintage condition with no visible damage or discoloration – the entire piece is preserved
