ABOUT PRODUCTID 6421
This 1960s ceiling lamp, crafted by the German manufacturer Limburg, exemplifies a synthesis of profiled glassmaking techniques with influences from Art Deco and mid-century modern aesthetics. Measuring 21.5 × 21.5 cm with a height of 10 cm, the shade is formed from richly textured glass in a warm golden-amber hue. Its surface features a radiating, ribbed pattern reminiscent of a blossoming rosette or stylized flower, while the gently scalloped edges add an organic softness. At the center, raised, bubble-like glass elements create a sense of depth and visual intrigue. The glossy, subtly translucent finish beautifully refracts and reflects light. The fixture accommodates two E27 bulbs (not included) and is preserved in very good vintage condition, with only minimal traces of use and no glass loss. This ceiling lamp tells a story of the 1960s, when German design drew on bold forms and fine materials, reinterpreting the legacy of Art Deco within the optimistic spirit of postwar Europe. The profiled glass in its warm tone evokes memories of interiors where lighting served not only to illuminate but also to decorate, casting nuanced reflections across a room. The rosette motif on the shade suggests a floral ornament—light blooming across the ceiling
