This ceiling or wall lamp from 1970s Germany embodies the spirit of space age design. Its sculptural, organic opaline glass shade features a milky white, matte finish that gently diffuses light. The softly rounded, undulating contours of the shade are set atop a cylindrical base in chromed steel with a cool, mirror-like sheen. The connection between glass and base is accentuated by visible yet discreet screws, a functional detail characteristic of the era's design language.
