This Bing & Grondahl centerpiece from mid-19th-century Denmark is a porcelain dish measuring 29 cm in diameter, crafted by Copenhagen’s renowned royal manufactory, celebrated for refined craftsmanship and elegant forms. The base is a smooth, slightly creamy white porcelain with a glossy glaze, evoking the timeless grace of European ceramics from this era. At the center, a hand-painted bouquet of roses and small blossoms appears in delicate, naturalistic hues: pink, green, white, and yellow merge into a harmonious composition. The scalloped rim features additional, subtle floral accents in pastel tones, divided into segments by molded lines.
