This porcelain centerpiece bowl, designed by Zofia Przybyszewska for the Ćmielów Porcelain Factory in 1957, exemplifies mature Polish mid-century modernism. The largest model in the series, it is crafted from fine-quality porcelain and finished with a highly glossy glaze. The exterior features a cool-toned blue, while the interior forms a striking contrast in warm, pastel yellow. A thin white line along the rim crisply separates these two color fields, emphasizing the clarity of the design. Its asymmetric, organically undulating edges embody the New Look style of the 1950s—free from handles, ornamentation, or additional decoration, with a seamless, smooth surface and a slightly recessed base. The Ćmielów Chodzież, Made in Poland mark on the underside affirms its provenance and authenticity.
