This collectible ceramic set, crafted by the Danish Ipsen manufactory in the 1920s, consists of a cigarette holder and a tray for a matchbox. Both pieces are made of semi-matte glazed ceramic, featuring a dominant muted orange-ochre tone, accented by deep olive green and subtle dark brown-black details. The geometric, cylindrical shapes are softened by rounded edges, while raised decorative reliefs with organic, Art Nouveau-inspired motifs accentuate the upper rims and bases. The surface is smooth, with gentle undulations caused by the relief work, and the semi-matte glaze lends a soft, understated sheen. Hand-crafted details and precise joining are visible throughout, while both elements are signed on the base, confirming their authentic Danish origin.
