ABOUT PRODUCTID 12237
This set of four fiberglass chairs, designed by Miroslav Navratil for Vertex in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s, exemplifies the mid-century modern aesthetic. The shell seats, made from molded fiberglass in a cool medium grey, feature a glossy, almost mirror-like finish with a subtle surface texture and slight undulations characteristic of the material. Each backrest features an integrated oval cut-out, serving as both a visual accent and a ventilation element. The slender black metal legs, slightly splayed for stability, are finished with light-colored plastic feet. The proportions are well-balanced, with gently curved seats and backrests that provide ergonomic support. The construction is minimalist yet robust, with each seat shell securely mounted to its metal base and marked with the manufacturer’s label. Condition: good vintage, with minor signs of use such as small surface scratches or light wear
