This chamberstick, crafted by the renowned Fraget manufactory in Warsaw in the second half of the 19th century, exemplifies the utilitarian elegance of neoclassical silverplate. Its design is restrained: a square tray with softly rounded corners and a gently raised rim supports a central cylindrical candle holder, featuring a flared base and an ornamental ringed collar. The substantial, circular finger handle is adorned with a delicate floral motif on the thumb rest—a detail distinctively associated with Warsaw’s silverware of the era.
