This chamberstick, produced by the J. Fraget manufactory in Warsaw around 1860, is a testament to 19th-century Polish silver-plated brass craftsmanship. The piece features a cool, mirror-like silver finish and a bright, polished surface without any additional accent colors. Its square base is gently scalloped along the edges and adorned with a continuous beaded (pearl) ornament, characteristic of neoclassical and late Empire styles. The central candle holder is elegantly turned, with a baluster-shaped neck and flared base, reflecting the refined proportions of the era. A practical, integrated finger ring handle—also decorated with pearls—sits at one corner, designed for easy portability. The craftsmanship is precise throughout: joints are smooth and seamless, the surface uniformly polished, and decorative details are crisp and well preserved.
