ABOUT PRODUCTID 27692
Designed by Gaetano Sciolari in the 1970s, this chandelier exemplifies the Italian interpretation of modern design from the Space Age era. Crafted entirely from brass in a warm, muted gold tone with a gentle patina, it features a compact, architectural structure centered on a cylindrical stem. Two levels of sharply bent brass rods radiate outward in a sunburst or atomic pattern, creating a dynamic geometric composition. The metal surfaces are smooth and semi-gloss, showing only minor darkening and fine scratches typical of well-preserved vintage pieces, with no significant damage. Original fittings and precise joints are visible in the construction details, and the fixture hangs from a sturdy brass chain and tube. There are no glass components, emphasizing the chandelier's industrial, sculptural logic. The proportions measure 39 × 39 cm with a height of 35 cm. Condition is very good—only gentle signs of use consistent with the 1970s remain.
