This pendant chandelier from Kamenický Šenov, produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s, is a quintessential example of mid-century modern lighting. The construction features a central gold stem and hub, from which eight evenly spaced brass (or brass-plated metal) arms radiate outward. Each arm ends in a conical socket supporting a spherical white opaline glass globe. The matte, smooth texture of the glass contrasts with the mirror-like, high-gloss finish of the gold structure. The design is notably geometric and symmetrical, with a clear sputnik influence characteristic of the era. Weighing approximately 15 kg, the chandelier has been gently refreshed and is preserved in very good vintage condition, showing only minor traces of use on the metal without any damage to the glass.
