This 1950s French chandelier is a refined example of mid-century modernism. The design features six articulated diabolo-shaped lampshades crafted from fiberglass in saturated, glossy hues: yellow, creamy white, and red. Each shade is finished to a high-gloss polish and adorned with small perforations near the edges, gently diffusing the light. The arms and central stem are made from polished brass, with slender lines and gentle curves that emphasize the chandelier’s balanced, radial geometry. The construction allows for adjustable positioning of the shades and directional lighting, while the entire piece measures 72 cm in both height and diameter. The chandelier is preserved in very good vintage condition, with only subtle signs of patina on the brass and minor, age-appropriate wear on the painted surfaces—no significant damage or restoration is visible.
