The modernist chandelier by Kaiser Leuchten from the 1960s is an example of German lighting design where functionality meets the expressive aesthetics of mid-century modern. The structure is based on a central, lacquered frame in a deep, muted green, from which geometric arms radiate symmetrically. Each of the six arms is finished with a spherical, matte opaline glass shade, hand-formed to achieve a soft, organic silhouette. Satin brass details—present on the arms, stem, and canopy—provide a warm accent while highlighting the precision of craftsmanship and the nobility of the materials. The material textures are varied: smooth matte metal, brass with natural patina, and velvety opaline glass that diffuses light evenly. All elements are original, with visible, precise joints.
