ABOUT PRODUCTID 23945
Designed by Paolo Venini in the 1960s in Italy, this chandelier exemplifies Italian glassmaking artistry in the spirit of mid-century modern. The structure features a central column of warm, polished brass from which arched arms radiate outward. Each arm is adorned with a Murano glass drop in a subtle rosaline pink, complemented by smaller clear glass beads that add both sparkle and depth. The composition forms a harmonious, cascading silhouette reminiscent of a weeping willow or a fountain. The smooth, glossy surface of the glass contrasts with the gently patinated brass, which displays natural traces of oxidation. The chandelier requires three E14 bulbs. Condition: good, with natural patina on the brass – no missing elements or major damage.Within this lamp echoes the voice of 1960s Italy: the glass drops, luminous and fluid, speak of Venetian mastery, while the rosaline pink evokes the era’s discreet sense of luxury. Each suspended teardrop seems to pause the moment, refracting light into a play of pink and clear reflections. This chandelier does not seek extravagance, but naturally draws attention—through the delicacy of its form and the nobility of its materials. This piece could be paired with mid-century modern furnishings or classic Italian sofas and walnut sideboards. It would work well in a spacious living room, suspended above a round dining table made of light wood or marble. It is worth combining it with a minimalist background—such as a white or dove-grey wall—to emphasize the cascading glass form. In more eclectic interiors, it may serve as a subtle decorative counterpoint to geometric rugs or period graphics.Height:
