ABOUT PRODUCTID 23957
This vintage chandelier from the 1970s, produced by Belgian lighting manufacturer Deknudt, features a robust construction crafted from brass-plated metal. The design is defined by a wide, circular arrangement of twelve arms, each ending in a molded matte glass shade shaped like a stylized shell or flower. The arms display decorative, swirling curves and spiral flourishes reminiscent of Art Nouveau floral motifs, while the brass surface is smooth with a subtle natural patina. The milky white glass shades have a soft, frosted texture that diffuses the light gently. The structure is completed by a matching brass chain and ceiling canopy, with visible screw fittings and elegant brass finials securing each shade. The chandelier is fitted with 12 E14 bulb sockets (five bulbs require replacement), offering balanced, diffuse illumination. The piece is preserved in very good, original condition, with no glass damage and only minor age-appropriate wear to the metal. In its form, this chandelier echoes the spirit of the 1970s—a period when European design balanced
