This six-arm chandelier from the 1960s, produced by the Polam factory in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, is a definitive example of Polish modernism with distinct influences from op art and pop art. The construction features a solid central stem, from which six cylindrical shades radiate outward. Each shade has a vertical cutout revealing a highly polished, chrome-like bulb holder, creating a dynamic contrast with the matte, brushed aluminum and white metal surfaces.
