This chandelier, inspired by the Italian Stilnovo movement and produced in the 1960s, encapsulates the essence of Mid-Century Modern—lightness, geometric balance, and an affinity for refined materials. The structure features five slender, polished brass arms radiating symmetrically from a central black sphere with a subtle sheen. Each arm culminates in a round, opaline white glass globe, forming a harmonious, spatial 'sputnik' composition. The ceiling mount is also brass, and the entire fixture retains the poised proportions characteristic of the era. The materials—brass and glass—lend a noble, reflective quality, while the precise execution is evident in the seamless transitions and well-crafted joints. The chandelier offers five light sources with E14 sockets, providing soft, even illumination. Condition is very good—surfaces are free of damage, globes are intact, and the brass retains the lustre typical of original pieces from this period.
