This chandelier, designed by Carl Fagerlund for the Swedish manufacturer Orrefors in the 1960s, exemplifies Scandinavian craftsmanship where luxury meets functionality. The structure features ten substantial glass leaves arranged radially on a polished brass frame in a sunburst motif, finished in a warm gold tone. Each leaf is made of thick, clear glass—frosted and textured on the inside, smooth and glossy on the outside—creating a dynamic play of light and shadow. The brass arms are crisply bent and distributed in harmonious symmetry, reflecting both mid-century modern and Hollywood Regency influences. All components are secured with custom brass brackets, with no visible screws or connectors. The chandelier requires 10 E14 bulbs. It is preserved in very good vintage condition: the brass frame has developed an even, refined patina, the glass leaves are free from chips or cracks, and all parts are original with no visible signs of restoration.
