This chest of drawers by Musterring International from the 1960s features a construction based on a honey-toned ash veneer body with a matte finish. Six drawers are arranged in two parallel columns, each with seamless, handleless fronts that emphasize the clean, minimalist geometry of the design. The piece rests on four slender rectangular legs made of matte black-painted steel, which are slightly inset to create a light, floating effect characteristic of mid-century modern furniture. The cream-white Formica top introduces a subtle visual contrast and practical durability. The grain of the ash wood remains subtly visible, adding authenticity, while the low, elongated proportions create a strong horizontal rhythm.
