This chest of drawers from Musterring International, produced in 1950s Germany, is an example of mid-century modern design crafted in walnut veneer with a matte finish. Measuring 100 × 38 × 78 cm, the piece stands on slightly splayed rectangular legs, giving the construction visual lightness. The chest features four drawers with formica fronts in distinct colors—yellow, cream, cobalt blue, and black—each fitted with a round brass knob. On the right, a single door in matching walnut veneer, also with a brass knob, conceals a practical shelf. The overall construction displays careful craftsmanship, solid joinery, balanced proportions, and a clear, geometric silhouette. The surface is smooth, with subtle wood grain visible, while the colored fronts remain matte and even.
