This antique chest of drawers from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries exemplifies Northern European craftsmanship, where classical ornamentation meets the onset of modern simplicity. Its structure features a solid wooden frame clad in a richly grained veneer of deep, warm brown, with the pronounced wood pattern providing visual depth. The six drawers are spacious, with gently curved fronts and rounded sides that soften the tall, narrow silhouette. Ornate, gilded brass handles and escutcheons in a Rococo-inspired style serve as decorative accents, adding a touch of historic detail. The proportions—117 cm in height, 107 cm in width, and 56 cm in depth—are harmonious, while the piece rests on four rounded bun feet.
