This vintage chest of drawers from the 1960s reflects the essential qualities of German mid-century modern design, where functionality is balanced by a quiet elegance of materials. The main body is finished in warm-toned teak veneer, contrasted by two front drawers in light ash veneer with a distinct vertical grain pattern. The top surface is covered in matte black Formica, offering durability for everyday use. Each drawer features a gently curved brass-toned metal handle, subtly accentuating the minimalist silhouette. The whole piece stands on four slender square-section steel legs, powder-coated in matte black and ending with low, round metal feet. The proportions are low and rectangular, with a thoughtful construction that leaves no mounting elements visible.
