The coffee pot from the 'Millenium' set, designed by Edmund Ruszczyński and Jan Kwinta in the 1960s for the Krzysztof Porcelain Factory in Wałbrzych, exemplifies Polish modernism in porcelain. Its tall, gently conical shape, sharply angular handle, and long, slender spout reflect mid-century modern sensibilities, further enhanced by a geometric decoration inspired by the surrealism of Joan Miró. The main body features a deep, glossy black glaze overlaid with a grid of fine white lines, punctuated by orange-red squares and a yellow, organic accent. The spout, handle, and lower rim contrast in pure white, while the base is adorned with a subtle, embossed pattern of vertical rectangles. The lid is black with a geometric white knob.
