ABOUT PRODUCTID 42553
This Bauhaus-style coffee table from the 1980s stands out with its sculptural, three-tiered construction and assertive geometry. The piece features three round glass tops—the largest with a diameter of 60 cm and two smaller ones at 50 cm—set into a robust, powder-coated black metal frame. The glossy finish of the metal contrasts with the clarity of the glass, lending the table both visual weight and a sense of lightness. Defined by crisp lines and a proportionate network of supports, the table’s circular surfaces are positioned at different heights (43 cm, 37 cm, 28 cm), creating a dynamic yet harmonious profile. The table is preserved in very good condition, with only minor scratches on the glass consistent with gentle vintage use.The form of this piece tells a story of an era when functionalism mingled with the boldness of modern materials. The black metal and transparent glass reflect the late modernist spirit—rawness intertwined with order—so the table seems to ‘speak’ in the language of 1980s geometry: simple, direct, and confident. Its three levels form a rhythmic progression, bringing visual order and architectural discipline to the interior. The table would work well in a minimalist living room, highlighting the clarity and restraint of the space, or in an industrial loft paired with concrete, leather, and chrome. It can be combined with a sofa of clean lines, metallic accents, or a graphic-patterned rug to emphasize its modernist origin. Collectors’ interiors with Bauhaus touches or contemporary, light-filled spaces would particularly complement its character.Dimensions: 60 cm diameter (main top), smaller tops 50 cm each, overall height 43 cm, other tops at 37 cm and 28 cm. Materials: powder-coated metal, glass. The table is in very good condition, with minor surface scratches on the glass consistent with age and use
