This 1970s Italian coffee table is constructed with two figural blackamoor supports cast from metal and brass, supporting a rectangular, thick beveled glass top. The figures feature a glossy black finish for the skin and polished golden brass for the clothing, hair, and bases, creating a striking visual contrast. Each figure is depicted in a dynamic, reclining pose with one raised arm and leg, holding the glass top at four contact points with small, round white pads to protect the glass. The table's proportions are balanced: the ornate, sculptural bases juxtapose with the lightness of the glass surface.
