This extendable coffee table was designed by Kai Kristiansen for Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik in Denmark during the 1960s. Crafted from solid teak wood, it features a warm, medium-brown tone with a subtle reddish hue characteristic of vintage Scandinavian teak. The satin finish imparts a gentle sheen, never overly glossy, allowing the natural wood grain to remain clearly visible. The rectangular tabletop has softly rounded edges and subtle beveling, lending a harmonious, minimalist silhouette. The table stands on four slender, tapered legs joined by horizontal stretchers, ensuring both stability and a visually light appearance. Its functionality is enhanced by the ability to pull out additional extension leaves and to raise the tabletop up to 70 cm, transforming the piece into a larger table with a depth of up to 105 cm.
