The original poster 'Circus – clown with cane and lion' by Stanisław Miedza-Tomaszewski, created in 1974, exemplifies the best achievements of the Polish School of Poster Art and the Polish interpretation of mid-century modern style. The composition is built on expressive contrasts: a monumental, wide-mouthed lion with a vibrant, dynamic mane takes center stage, seated on a decorative platform adorned with pennants in red, green, yellow, and black. On the left, a clown in a patchwork costume, accentuated by geometric blocks and stripes in pink, blue, green, yellow, and black, balances on one hand while juggling colorful balls. The artist employs a vivid, multitone palette characteristic of the 1970s, and freehand drawing to emphasize lightness and ironic distance. The bottom features a stylized, hand-drawn 'CYRK' inscription, with each letter resembling a piece of stage décor. The poster is printed in offset technique, B1 format (approximately 68 × 98 cm) on smooth, matte paper. It is preserved in excellent condition, with no signs of damage or discoloration and fully authentic color retention. This composition carries
